Ungodly Hour: A Disrupted Plan in Perfect Harmony

Chloe and Halle Bailey, the R&B duo and real-life sisters signed to Beyonce's label. Parkwood Entertainment will be releasing their newest album UNGODLY HOUR on Friday, July 12th.
With the music world at a standstill and tensions high, the sisters still believe music holds power to bring love, healing, and a powerful message to their audience. Therefore, in solidarity for the Black Lives Matter movement, the soulful singers postponed Ungodly Hour's original release date from Friday, July 5th. With the release of their NEWEST SINGLE “DO IT” on Friday, May 15th, we can expect a novel, sensuous sound and darker party tones to accompany the melodies.

All Grown Up and Ready to “Do It”

When they were only tweens, the Bailey sisters were discovered by Beyonce's label, Parkwood Entertainment, through their YOUTUBE COVER “PRETTY HURTS.” Immediately, the world saw the sisters' fun, original and unparalleled talent. Seeing the siblings posing together is like viewing an intricately choreographed dance. They shift naturally between one another's rhythm, and their styles always complement each other. But, each still reflects the woman wearing them along with each having her individual character.

The duo's close connection goes beyond the typical sisterhood. Chloe and Halle are creatives, partners, and ultimately best friends, which makes the next stage of their careers, both together and on their own, so prominent and carefully calculated. As they explore a more mature tone in the upcoming album, Ungodly Hour, and diverse career opportunities, it's evident Chloe and Halle are ready for what's next.

More Star Moves from the Atlanta Natives

The beautiful singers quickly proved to be the label's most influential recording stars with the debut of their first album, THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT. Ungodly Hour will take the musical resonance to a new level as the women continue to become more in tune with their personal energies.
Along with a flourishing music career, Chloe and Halle also star in THE FREEFORM SERIES GROWN-ISH and have each received solo acting roles in highly anticipated films. Chloe Bailey recently finished scenes on “THE GEORGETOWN PROJECT,” a thriller film currently in post-production starring Russel Crowe. Halle Bailey began rehearsals for her role in Disney's upcoming LIVE-ACTION VERSION OF ‘THE LITTLE MERMAID.”
Chloe and Halle will continue to explore themselves and the changing world surrounding them to see what artistic opportunities come out of it. After all, there is no magic formula for art. The magic is in the bond.
